Series Classes

What are series classes? Series classes range from 2-6 weeks and are progressive in nature, so a commitment to the entire series is often expected for the full benefit. They are different from our drop-in classes and require a separate registration. Series classes we have offered include Stand-Up Paddle Board (SUP) Yoga, Self-Defense, Learn-to-Swim, Hiking, Capoeira, Ballet, and Learn-to-Row. 

Ballet Workout

Taller, longer, stronger! In this series we will learn and practice the basic elements of a traditional ballet class, while also getting quite the workout! Increase your flexibility, strength, coordination and improve your posture all while dancing to beautiful music!  No prior dance experience is necessary, and those with experience are welcome to join! The class level will be catered to those who sign up.

Wear comfortable clothes you can easily move in, socks (or ballet slippers) and bring a water bottle.

Capoeira

 At times confused for a dance for its beautiful flowing movements, capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art practiced to music, and is rooted in the struggle for racial justice in colonial Brazil. Beginners will systematically learn foundational movements and concepts, while experienced capoeiristas are welcome to further develop existing skills.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to row, or use those rowing machines properly that you see in the gym???

Join this series and learn from the best. You will even get to row on the water. It doesn’t get better than that!

Can I sign up in Atleto?

No, series classes are not in Atleto. You must register using the link above.

What if I want to take multiple series-based classes?

You must submit a form for each series-based class you’re interested in.

How do I know if I am in the class after registering?

If you are registered, you will receive details regarding location, attire, equipment, any payment required and any other information you need to know.

Is there a fee?

Series classes are free, unless otherwise specified.
